Basic Documentary Requirements for Pag-IBIG Housing Loan Applications



If you're a Filipino planning to buy a home in the Philippines through the government's Pag-IBIG housing loan program, here are the basic documents that you will need to present upon completion of your down payment installments with the seller/developer of the property:

1. Housing Loan Application with recent ID photo of borrower (and co-borrower if applicable), 2 copies
2. Proof of Income (see related article entitled "Proof of Income - Documentary Requirements" for more on this
3. One (1) valid ID (photocopy, back-to-back) of Principal Borrower and Spouse, Co-Borrower and Spouse, Seller and Spouse and Developer's Authorized Representative and Attorney-in-Fact, if applicable
4. Notarized/Consularized Special Power of Attorney (SPA) form - if the Principal Borrower is working or living abroad. The borrower has to appoint a close relative living in the Philippines as his Attorney-in-Fact or AIF.
5. Transfer Certificate of Title (TCT) - latest title, Certified True Copy. For condominium unit, present TCT of land and Condominium Certificate of Title (CCT) >> certified true copy
6. Updated Tax Declaration (House and Lot
7. Contract-to-Sell or similar agreement between the buyer and seller
8. Vicinity Map/Sketch of the Property
